When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, You Fei put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Ross Barber. 29 minutes into the match, You Fei notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Fomac FK's Ross Barber. Ross Barber was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers You Fei in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ross Barber saved Fomac FK from getting behind. In the 47th minute Northern Lights were awarded a corner. Özgün Serbülend went to the cornerflag to take it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eddie Sörman was the one to do the kick off. You Fei scored 4-0 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ross Barber, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ross Barber didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from You Fei went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Eddie Sörman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fazıl Hüsnü Sümer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Northern Lights defense, Flóki Ólafsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Başaran Ötüken. The Northern Lights fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Başaran Ötüken should have stopped the shot. 79 minutes into the match, Northern Lights's goal looked a bit too open when Flóki Ólafsson came free, but Başaran Ötüken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Eddie Sörman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Başaran Ötüken was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Flóki Ólafsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Başaran Ötüken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ross Barber showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from You Fei in the 88th minute of the match. Gazanfer Kelim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ross Barber having to make a save. Başaran Ötüken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flóki Ólafsson in the 95th minute of the match. In the 97th minute Fomac FK were awarded a corner. Jacek Solibieda went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Fomac FK's Jacek Solibieda to fire away a dangerous shot which Başaran Ötüken despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Many of Fomac FK's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Fomac FK may have spent more time on the ball, but Northern Lights were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
