The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute Georg Termander shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Baptista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute, Gentil Setúbal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Terceirense F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Börje Jelm scored 1-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cássio Baptista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 14 minutes into the game, Gentil Setúbal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Ivar Unesson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet as Georg Termander kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cássio Baptista. That made the score 2-2 in the 17 minute of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Gentil Setúbal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Terceirense F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gentil Setúbal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivar Unesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gentil Setúbal in the 21st minute of the match. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Porjus's goalkeeper Ivar Unesson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cássio Baptista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Pena in the 30th minute. Georg Termander in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cássio Baptista, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Orlando Pena scored 4-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cássio Baptista, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gentil Setúbal struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Ivar Unesson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Terceirense F.C.. After 42 minutes, Reginaldo Silveira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Terceirense F.C. and the Porjus players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Porjus booed when Terceirense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reginaldo Silveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gentil Setúbal in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivar Unesson saved Porjus from getting behind. When Zarco Sarmento fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Terceirense F.C.'s protests and gave Zarco Sarmento a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Porjus booed when Terceirense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zarco Sarmento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Terceirense F.C.'s Reginaldo Silveira got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A nice corner shot did that Börje Jelm got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Cássio Baptista quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Porjus were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Terceirense F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Börje Jelm took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georg Termander in the 63rd minute of play forced Terceirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Cássio Baptista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the match, Terceirense F.C.'s Gentil Setúbal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivar Unesson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Porjus's goalkeeper Ivar Unesson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Terceirense F.C.'s Aleksander Kapera was substituted for Gaspar Gouveia. 70 minutes had been played when some careless play by Porjus's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Kerem Aktürkoglu was slow to take the kick. During this time Terceirense F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Terceirense F.C.'s Kerem Aktürkoglu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ivar Unesson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 73 minutes into the match, Terceirense F.C.'s Gentil Setúbal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ivar Unesson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Terceirense F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Kerem Aktürkoglu in the 76th minute. If Börje Jelm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After recieving a nice pass, Porjus's Börje Jelm tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Terceirense F.C.'s Cássio Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georg Termander in the 94th minute of play. In the 98th minute, Marko Isaksson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Porjus walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
