Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gia Buffon. BSC Thunder Arvutitark's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Groeneveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grujica Pekaric in the 5th minute of play. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 15 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gia Buffon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Lembit Pentus sent off a good shot on target. 19 minutes into the match, BSC Thunder Arvutitark's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Gia Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer to fire away a dangerous shot which Gia Buffon despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A hard shot 25 in the game by Grujica Pekaric from a close distance when the talented Arnout Reekers managed to make a qualified save. Netherlands's players were relieved. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 29th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gia Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, BSC Thunder Arvutitark's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Gia Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grujica Pekaric's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 35thth minute, Arnout Reekers skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. BSC Thunder Arvutitark's Gia Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 36th minute of play. After some careless play in the BSC Thunder Arvutitark defense, Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gia Buffon. The BSC Thunder Arvutitark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gia Buffon should have stopped the shot. If João Vítor Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Netherlands were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Grujica Pekaric went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 54th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grujica Pekaric, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Lembit Pentus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lembit Pentus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gia Buffon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. BSC Thunder Arvutitark made a substitution. Mati Ridal replaced Lembit Pentus. BSC Thunder Arvutitark's Slawomir Wykowski was substituted for João Vítor Salles. Through an outstanding action, after 71 minutes, Gia Buffon successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 73rd minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 74th minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that BSC Thunder Arvutitark's Gia Buffon managed to reach the ball for a save. Gust Ennemans hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. The supporters of BSC Thunder Arvutitark booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathijn Doctor didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grujica Pekaric in the 84th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Augustin Potopea almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers did a great save. In the 86th minute, Cristo Ospin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the BSC Thunder Arvutitark defense, Lars Meesters kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gia Buffon. The BSC Thunder Arvutitark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gia Buffon should have stopped the shot. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind BSC Thunder Arvutitark's goalkeeper Gia Buffon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
