England's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Alvaro Sforza scored to the left of an out of position Khalid Kennedy, making the score, 1-0. After 15 played minutes AC Roma got a freekick which was hit by Armin Ascenzi. Alvaro Sforza did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Khalid Kennedy 17 minutes into the match. England's Khalid Kennedy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save England from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Sforza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Khalid Kennedy was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. The supporters of England booed when AC Roma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. The England fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Khalid Kennedy should have stopped the shot. AC Roma's Alvaro Sforza got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Javier Della Francesca got free with Khalid Kennedy in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Khalid Kennedy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvaro Sforza in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Kyle Cox made the kick off in the second half. Micah Macdonald could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Cristoforo Brillante made a huge save. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Sforza, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Alvaro Sforza might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Khalid Kennedy. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Sforza ran back to his position shaking his head. Issac Dawson hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the England defense, Alvaro Sforza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Khalid Kennedy. Khalid Kennedy came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by AC Roma's Armin Ascenzi. But to his dismay, Armin Ascenzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. After 70 minutes of play, AC Roma's Javier Della Francesca made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Khalid Kennedy was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 73rdth minute of the game Javier Della Francesca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but England's Khalid Kennedy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Alvaro Sforza managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC Roma's supporters rose to their feet, but Alvaro Sforza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Khalid Kennedy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Della Francesca in the 82nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. AC Roma had won after a very even match.
