The throw-in from Mei Zhi Jun in the 3rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Eliseo Cutri. 11 minutes into the game, Eliseo Cutri threw the ball into play from the sideline. VN BAKITO's Mei Zhi Jun quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. VN BAKITO's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Blagoy Banovski in the 16th minute. The supporters of Italy booed when VN BAKITO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zhu Ning Ning didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mei Zhi Jun stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Italy's defenders and the ball went out. After having played for 27 minutes, Denimir Tzonkov managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VN BAKITO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denimir Tzonkov was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 32 minutes into the game, Denimir Tzonkov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Flavio Vittori was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 43 minutes into the match, VN BAKITO's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Ruslan Rúklyov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as VN BAKITO's Denimir Tzonkov slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Flavio Vittori. That made the score 2-0 after 45 minutes of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaccheo Andolina made a kick off. Zhu Ning Ning hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. VN BAKITO's Ruslan Rúklyov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 53rd minute of play. Eliseo Cutri hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Zaccheo Andolina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Zaccheo Andolina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. VN BAKITO's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
