The FK Řitka fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when FK Řitka's Margus Paulus looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. FK Řitka's Cleto Peyo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 20th minute of play. Felipe Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cleto Peyo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, FK Řitka's Leonard Filipașcu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Cleto Peyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, FK Řitka's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Cleto Peyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 29 minutes, Rubens da Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FK Řitka's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rubens da Silveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cleto Peyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Eduard Kopecký threw the ball into play from the sideline. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filip Měchura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cleto Peyo firmly grabbed it by the left post. FK Řitka's Cleto Peyo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save FK Řitka from getting a goal against them. Rodolfo Miranda might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cleto Peyo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rodolfo Miranda ran back to his position shaking his head. FK Řitka's Miroslav Pernický was substituted for Filip Měchura. With a little luck, FK Řitka's Cleto Peyo got control of the ball when Felipe Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cleto Peyo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Felipe Barreto's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Barreto in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cleto Peyo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felipe Barreto spun around in front of the goal 67 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of FK Řitka's goal. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubens da Silveira in the 72nd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubens da Silveira in the 73rd minute of the match. Rubens da Silveira scored 5-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 86th minute, Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cleto Peyo. Cleto Peyo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-2. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Filipașcu in the 90th minute of play.
