Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Vanderstraeten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Honkens Bengaler BK getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Wilian Cardozo hit a great ball. Edward Vanderstraeten struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. William Vennersten didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Belgium. After some careless play in the Honkens Bengaler BK defense, Edward Vanderstraeten kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of William Vennersten. The Honkens Bengaler BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that William Vennersten should have stopped the shot. Nils-Emil Wästerberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Casper Claes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yves Dervaux received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Honkens Bengaler BK's William Vennersten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 33rd minute of play. Casper Claes made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Karl-Oskar Carlsson sent off a good shot on target. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but William Vennersten read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Karl-Oskar Carlsson got free with Casper Claes in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 43 minutes, Casper Claes successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Wilian Cardozo kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The Honkens Bengaler BK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Belgium were winning 0-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Oskar Carlsson made a kick off. A collision led to Belgium getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Lenny Clocheret hit a great ball. In the 54th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honkens Bengaler BK's goalkeeper William Vennersten, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, Honkens Bengaler BK's goalkeeper William Vennersten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. After 58 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Lenny Clocheret. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yves Dervaux in the 60th minute of play forced Honkens Bengaler BK's goalkeeper William Vennersten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Honkens Bengaler BK's zone, Edward Vanderstraeten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Vennersten came out of the goal and Edward Vanderstraeten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 67 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Dusett came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Oskar Carlsson in the 71st minute of the match. It was a well-played corner which Karl-Oskar Carlsson managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 76thth minute, William Vennersten skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Wilian Cardozo lost his temper 78 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Honkens Bengaler BK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 77th minute. Penalty! Honkens Bengaler BK:s William Vennersten showed great skill when he stopped Edward Vanderstraeten:s penalty. William Vennersten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yves Dervaux in the 82nd minute. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Oskar Carlsson in the 86th minute of play. Siebe Michiels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Belgium booed when Honkens Bengaler BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jon Hökqvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Siebe Michiels got free with William Vennersten in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Belgium had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
