Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edoardo Pascucci in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chris Mergenthaler's late challenge caught a Merceron United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chris Mergenthaler helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. With his leg Tommy Kahn managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Merceron United's Edoardo Pascucci fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 13th minute, Merceron United's Edoardo Pascucci dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 17 minutes, Tommy Kahn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 26th minute of play forced Merceron United's goalkeeper Anselmo Facchetti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Merceron United's Anselmo Facchetti. Anselmo Facchetti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Merceron United getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Jan Gamza hit a great ball. In the 36th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Sachs to maneuver through the defense. Jan Gamza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edoardo Pascucci could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. 44 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edoardo Pascucci. In the 46th minute, Edoardo Pascucci made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Frank Sachs to make the kick off. Edoardo Pascucci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edoardo Pascucci's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Edoardo Pascucci notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Alessio Bottaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Germany booed when Merceron United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dave Giacomozzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Merceron United's Edoardo Pascucci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Merceron United were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Milosz Waselenczuk took the corner. Jan Gamza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Chris Mergenthaler kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Edoardo Pascucci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Lusi kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Merceron United had played much better football throughout.
