In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Beek City's goalkeeper Rodriguinho de Castro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rodriguinho de Castro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. When Beek City's Marciano Hendrickx in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Hendrickx in the 36th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Beek City's Rodriguinho de Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 39th minute of play. After some careless play in the Beek City defense, Sigfrido Auletta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rodriguinho de Castro. The Beek City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rodriguinho de Castro should have stopped the shot. 44 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Heiko Sibon came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Vittori made an important save on a dangerous shot by Heiko Sibon in the 45th minute. The Beek City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Italy were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaccheo Andolina made a kick off. The supporters of Italy booed when Beek City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Liebrechts didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match was over Italy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Beek City throughout the match.
