Jean Fernandez struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for São Paulo da Floresta. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by São Paulo da Floresta's Jean Fernandez. But to his dismay, Jean Fernandez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After a rather tough play, São Paulo da Floresta's Paulo José Lucas got a free kick in the 39th minute.

After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Jean Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Jean Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reynaldo Maia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 54th minute. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jean Fernandez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 4-0 when Jean Fernandez sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. A collision led to São Paulo da Floresta getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. João Pedro Campidelis hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, São Paulo da Floresta's Alfredo Vasconcelos got a free kick in the 75th minute. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jean Fernandez in the 84th minute of the match. São Paulo da Floresta's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by João Pedro Campidelis in the 86th minute. São Paulo da Floresta's João Pedro Campidelis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tommy Kahn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jean Fernandez during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. São Paulo da Floresta's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
