Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Sandro Galishoff started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Goiás Esporte Clube's Michel Loureiro got a free kick in the 4th minute. A collision led to Goiás Esporte Clube getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Michel Loureiro hit a great ball. When Sandro Galishoff came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Austria fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sandro Galishoff couldn't finish the play. Marvin Harrer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Guga Souto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 25 played minutes Goiás Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Celsinho Macedo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabio Schneider in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guga Souto saved Goiás Esporte Clube from getting behind. Guga Souto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Nalder, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. A collision led to Austria getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Emil Seidler hit a great ball. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Austria! In the 40th minute Fabio Schneider shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guga Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandro Galishoff fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga Souto having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nelsinho Lima during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th minute, Nelsinho Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 49 played minutes, Austria's Emil Seidler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Guga Souto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Austria reached it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Iuri de Andrade made the kick off in the second half. Fabio Schneider hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Flávio Dionísio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 57 played minutes Goiás Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Celsinho Macedo. Fabio Auer didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Goiás Esporte Clube's Flávio Dionísio shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. After 80 minutes of play, Goiás Esporte Clube's Flávio Dionísio made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabio Auer was left in no man's land by his defense there! Kiko Rosado hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Austria's Jonas Nalder slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guga Souto. That made the score 3-1 after 88 minutes of play. Fabio Schneider blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Guga Souto having to make a save. Kiko Rosado hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Many of Austria's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Austria may have spent more time on the ball, but Goiás Esporte Clube were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
