With a left leg Wilson Amorim saved Portugal from getting behind. 9 minutes into the match, Doffes Damer's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Greid Tinsmith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Greid Tinsmith showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 20th match minute, Doffes Damer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Herbert Wincek to maneuver through the defense. Doffes Damer's Herbert Wincek quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Graciano Coutinho, made in the 24th minute of the game. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Caetano Moreira hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Doffes Damer's Greid Tinsmith proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Doffes Damer from getting a goal against them. Felipinho Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Greid Tinsmith. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipinho Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. 95 minutes into the match, Doffes Damer's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomeu Dias came free, but Greid Tinsmith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Doffes Damer had won after a very even match.
