Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Valter Xabat got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Alemannia Aachen's Manfred Kottsieper sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomas Müller, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Alemannia Aachen's Valter Xabat was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 16th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 20 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mathias-Alexander Leers. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jess Carnduff having to make a save. Jess Carnduff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Müller came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Viriato Moura put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Jess Carnduff. In the 43rd minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jess Carnduff saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Portugal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Pimentel to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

In the 51st minute, Daniel Pimentel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Alemannia Aachen booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Pimentel didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Portugal's Caetano Moreira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jess Carnduff. That made the score 2-2 after 57 minutes of play. 63 minutes into the match, Alemannia Aachen's goalkeeper Jess Carnduff had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Barreto. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Xabat in the 66th minute of play. Felipe Barreto took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jess Carnduff. Jess Carnduff dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. The throw-in from Manfred Kottsieper in the 74th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Portugal's Felipinho Amorim. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valter Xabat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Felipinho Amorim. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mathias-Alexander Leers in the 81st minute of play. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mathias-Alexander Leers, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Müller, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas Müller in the 90th minute of play. 94 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Mateusz Rydel came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Mathias-Alexander Leers notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
