Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Germany's Frank Sachs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 played minutes Iwo Sawicki rounded Germany's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Pentti Ojala in the 9thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tommy Kahn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tommy Kahn was a little too slow when Christo Bothenhain got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 13th minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 18th minute, Tiger's Christo Bothenhain ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After 23 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. 28 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Iwo Sawicki came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Albin Holweck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 43rd minute of the match, Pentti Ojala got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tommy Kahn was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iwo Sawicki in the 48th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Iwo Sawicki to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Hanns Weber came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Tiger's Concetto Raniolo got control of the ball when Frank Sachs tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hanns Weber struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tiger. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christo Bothenhain in the 59th minute of the match. Pentti Ojala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Pentti Ojala notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tiger's Fatih Schwemer was substituted for Rudolf Speed. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Iwo Sawicki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Tiger made a substitution. Michail Bakunin replaced Iwo Sawicki. After 91 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Chris Mergenthaler. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Christo Bothenhain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Christo Bothenhain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michail Bakunin took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0.
