Anton Stenman struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Vavrinec Holub didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karlsborg. In the 4th match minute, Karlsborg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edvard Magnusson to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Anton Stenman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anton Stenman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Sune Nyberg kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Alan Rezek received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Björn Blomkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anton Stenman got free with Vavrinec Holub in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tor Brolin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vavrinec Holub having to make a save. Denis Dostal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Björn Blomkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, Karlsborg's Edvard Magnusson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vavrinec Holub narrowly saved just below the crossbar. David Rusil scored 1-1 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Björn Blomkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Anton Stenman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vavrinec Holub made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anton Stenman in the 32nd minute. Anton Stenman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Vavrinec Holub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 played minutes Karlsborg got a freekick which was hit by Sune Nyberg. David Rusil kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Classon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Classon in the 52nd minute of the match. A throw-in in the 61st minute of the game was made by Dalimil Charvat with Alan Rezek as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Jilek in the 68th minute of play forced Karlsborg's goalkeeper Björn Blomkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joel Classon scored 3-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vavrinec Holub, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Classon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, Edvard Magnusson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Denis Dostal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Björn Blomkvist having to interfere. Vavrinec Holub showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Classon in the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Karlsborg were the better team. Karlsborg's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
