Despite this Keld Paulsen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 46 minutes in the game Fabiano Di Nino did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Amedeo Recio. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

53 minutes into the game, Coviolo's Amedeo Recio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Keld Paulsen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Keld Paulsen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Frezza, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 69th minute, Mikkel Wulff reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pär Are. The goal made the score 1-1. Pär Are showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olav Graversen in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coviolo's goalkeeper Pär Are, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bertram Svenningsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Coviolo support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
