Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Germany's Frank Sachs started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tommy Kahn was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Peder Sarstedt showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Peder Sarstedt did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Tommy Kahn 7 minutes into the match. Tommy Kahn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peder Sarstedt's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Bengt Apelquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. Bengt Apelquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Janik Vogt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrik Heggert was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 28th minute. Huvudstaden's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Bengt Apelquist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. In the 32nd minute, Peder Sarstedt ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Tommy Kahn stood somewhat misplaced when Peder Sarstedt came free in front of goal and shot 6-0 to the left of him in the 35 minute. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Tommy Kahn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 42nd minute of play forced Huvudstaden's goalkeeper Bengt Apelquist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tage Rudqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute Peder Sarstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peder Sarstedt to strike the kick off in the second half. The Huvudstaden fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Huvudstaden's Peder Sarstedt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 54th minute, Patrik Heggert left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Huvudstaden fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Kent Jonasson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. In the 73rd minute Patrik Heggert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sven Krakouer charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven Krakouer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Krakouer to maneuver through the defense. Huvudstaden's Bengt Apelquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Huvudstaden from getting a goal against them. Germany were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Huvudstaden's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frank Sachs took the corner. Frank Sachs made a great header on Germany's corner, it was just that Huvudstaden's Bengt Apelquist managed to reach the ball for a save. When Germany's Ulrich Stein in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Huvudstaden's goalie prevented a goal. 84 minutes into the match, Huvudstaden's Tage Rudqvist sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 87th minute Patrik Heggert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrik Heggert in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute, Bertrand Rousseau hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 91 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Malte Schiele. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrik Heggert in the 94th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Huvudstaden had played much better football throughout.
