Gijsbert ter Kruimer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silviu Lung having to make a save. Gustaaf Groeneveldt scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Silviu Lung, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vintilă Bordeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Niculae Podgoreanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niculae Podgoreanu in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. After 40 played minutes -BZF- Viper eSports got a freekick which was hit by Nistor Mereuță. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Eikelkamp hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. Silviu Lung took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 62nd minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silviu Lung saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kees Mooiweer to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, -BZF- Viper eSports's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Wim Wilmes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The audience was convinced that Niculae Podgoreanu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kees Mooiweer during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niculae Podgoreanu in the 77th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silviu Lung. Silviu Lung dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Chirilă, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. In the 93rd match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Meesters to maneuver through the defense.
