An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Olaru in the 23rd minute of play forced A4p FC Gad's goalkeeper Glenn Fyfe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes had been played when some careless play by A4p FC Gad's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Adam Olaru was slow to take the kick. During this time Romania's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Sanda Cutov managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 30 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goal looked a bit too open when Costica Vladimiri came free, but Glenn Fyfe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the A4p FC Gad defense, Adam Olaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Glenn Fyfe. The A4p FC Gad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Glenn Fyfe should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when James Batistuta got free with Carol Stinga in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Olaru in the 39th minute of play. James Batistuta came free with the goalkeeper in the 48th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Carol Stinga could save by the left post. After the first half Romania were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Adam Olaru made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Adam Olaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, A4p FC Gad's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Olaru came free, but Glenn Fyfe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A4p FC Gad's Glenn Fyfe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Olaru in the 57th minute of play. Glenn Fyfe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Olaru in the 59th minute of the match. When Romania's Adam Olaru in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A4p FC Gad's goalie prevented a goal. Glenn Fyfe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavian Vaduva in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute, Alexandru Pangratiu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Glenn Fyfe. The goal made the score 0-4. Anton Stinga might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Glenn Fyfe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anton Stinga ran back to his position shaking his head. Romania played a much better game than A4p FC Gad and deserved their victory. The A4p FC Gad players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
