An unexpectedly hard shot by Major Barna in the 35th minute of play forced SoS FC's goalkeeper Karl-Erik Larsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Szekeres Tamas made in the 36th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by SoS FC's Eduard Gâgea. Olov Hermansson kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Pedrão de Amorim stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 45 minutes into the match, SoS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Karl-Erik Larsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, SoS FC's Karl-Erik Larsson got control of the ball when Major Barna tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Karl-Erik Larsson in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Karl-Erik Larsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tommy Boylin went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Marek Jaraczewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
