Urbano Bakar charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urbano Bakar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After recieving a nice pass, Portugal's Felipe Barreto tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Saverio Sindos short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Wilson Amorim to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Portugal booed when Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tom Misaki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bengi Price didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Viriato Moura went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. A hard shot 17 in the game by Saverio Sindo from a close distance when the talented Wilson Amorim managed to make a qualified save. Portugal's players were relieved. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Graciano Coutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portugal's supporters rose to their feet, but Graciano Coutinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bengi Price breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 23rd minute, Raul Caetano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 24th minute, when Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s Kazuo Koriotto after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Wilson Amorim in Portugal's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch. 29 minutes into the match, Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s goal looked a bit too open when Graciano Coutinho came free, but Bengi Price reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Barreto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kazuo Koriotto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saverio Sindo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 45thth minute, Wilson Amorim skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bengi Price made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Bengi Price made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Graciano Coutinho sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Saverio Sindo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s supporters rose to their feet, but Saverio Sindo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 55 minutes into the game, Viriato Moura recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bengi Price. Viriato Moura showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Viriato Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖'s Bengi Price got control of the ball when Graciano Coutinho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Portugal's Graciano Coutinho got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bengi Price took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipinho Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79thth minute of the game Edgard Sedeni who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Bartolomeu Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolomeu Dias in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bengi Price prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 94th minute, Graciano Coutinho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felipinho Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Portugal could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Deportivo G⦕⩙⦖ throughout the match.
