Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cai Inestrosa got the match started through his kick off. Fodor Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Nils-Erik Askelöf made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 28th minute of play. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nurkan Salah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Southern Thrashers's Nils-Erik Askelöf played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 34th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Southern Thrashers's Fodor Daniel threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Nurkan Salah, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 39 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cai Inestrosa. Nils-Erik Askelöf showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 40th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cai Inestrosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Ospin in the 62nd minute of play. A hard shot 68 in the game by Antal Valentin from a close distance when the talented Nils-Erik Askelöf managed to make a qualified save. Southern Thrashers's players were relieved. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute Cai Inestrosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cai Inestrosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Hungary players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
