Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Denmark's Mikkel Wulff got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Denmark were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after XMAS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Chris Nygaard took the corner. A sloppy throw-in by Concetto Marinucci in the 8th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Olav Graversen. After 13 played minutes Ernesto Minichiello could catch the ball where he stood relatively free a bit outside the goal and without hesitation he completed 1-0 into the left cross. The supporters of XMAS booed when Denmark was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Bendtsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chris Nygaard in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Polidori prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Armando Polidori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 24th minute of play. Bertram Svenningsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Minichiello in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keld Paulsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Armando Polidori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 31st minute of the match. When Concetto Marinucci fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored XMAS's protests and gave Concetto Marinucci a yellow card for diving instead. After 33 played minutes XMAS got a freekick which was hit by Concetto Marinucci. In the 35th minute, Chris Nygaard sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and XMAS's Armando Polidori didn't even have to move. In the 38thth minute of the game Ernesto Minichiello who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Denmark's Keld Paulsen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The wind increased when Eugenio Casiraghi made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Chris Nygaard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Polidori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the XMAS defense, Chris Nygaard kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armando Polidori. The XMAS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armando Polidori should have stopped the shot. In the 62nd minute, Mikkel Wulff ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Armando Polidori was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Armando Polidori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 66th minute of play. Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Eugenio Casiraghi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, XMAS's goalkeeper Armando Polidori had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Chris Nygaard. In the 88th minute, Chris Nygaard reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Armando Polidori. The goal made the score 1-3. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Bjarne Kirkegaard hit a great ball. XMAS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Chris Nygaard scored to the left of an out of position Armando Polidori, making the score, 1-4. Denmark's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
