In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Valer Onișoru, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Khalid Kennedy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gigi Bobei in the 22nd minute. Silver Phoenix received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Issac Dawson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Valer Onișoru made a huge save. Valer Onișoru was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Micah Macdonald showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 59 minute of play. Valer Onișoru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kyle Cox in the 67th minute of play. England's supporters rose to their feet, but Micah Macdonald was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valer Onișoru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
