Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ionel Mirea in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Georg Hagberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nick Heesen took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manuel Campens. Manuel Campens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ágætis Byrjun's Georg Hagberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Montae in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Pagos FC booed when Ágætis Byrjun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gregorio Urtsin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nuralp Akbal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Georg Hagberg made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Nuralp Akbal sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th minute, Nick Heesen made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Campens. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Montae in the 83rd minute of play forced Ágætis Byrjun's goalkeeper Georg Hagberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Christos Bartzokas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Georg Hagberg. That made the score 2-2 in the 89 minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
