In the 37th match minute, Palliniakos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xabier 赵云 to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Palliniakos FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Eugenios Dimakis hit a great ball. Siricio Liotta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Helmut Tõnuri having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Perivaldo de Lima shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Palliniakos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Helmut Tõnuri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The throw-in from Markos Kortes in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Zaccheo Andolina really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xabier 赵云 in the 90th minute of play. Adriano Curto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Helmut Tõnuri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
