In the 9th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustaw Nowak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 10th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. 12 minutes into the match, Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's goal looked a bit too open when David Eikelkamp came free, but Gustaw Nowak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, Arnout Reekers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Zbyszek Le Bonniec succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 22nd playminute. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tristan Lannister, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustaw Nowak having to interfere. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Pedro Dracena in the 35th minute of the match. Ciccio Kowalczyk struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy. When Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Zbyszek Le Bonniec in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Netherlands's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gustaw Nowak saved Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tristan Lannister was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Zbyszek Le Bonniec shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 minutes Netherlands's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ciccio Kowalczyk who took care of the corner kick. 62 minutes into the match, Zbyszek Le Bonniec had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zbyszek Le Bonniec was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Gustaw Nowak came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer. But to his dismay, Gijsbert ter Kruimer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. After 79 minutes, Wim Wilmes made it 4-3 with a short kick to the right side. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's Gustaw Nowak tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Czerwone Lwy Podjuchy's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
