Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Dahlberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to LIVIUS UNITED MLS getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Bartolomé Perpiñán hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Daniel Şimandan managed to get in a good position for a shot. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Şimandan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Daniel Şimandan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Daniel Şimandan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 19th minute LIVIUS UNITED MLS were awarded a corner. Jonas Dahlberg went to the cornerflag to take it. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Octavio Cordaryal in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Şimandan in the 25th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 26th minute of play forced LIVIUS UNITED MLS's goalkeeper Yanick Knecht to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yanick Knecht showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonas Dahlberg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 3-0 in the 35 minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

In the 52nd minute Daniel Şimandan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Germany's corner Frank Sachs fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Yanick Knecht quite easily take care of the ball. Bartolomé Perpiñán struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for LIVIUS UNITED MLS. In the 64th minute, Germany's Frank Sachs ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yanick Knecht. Yanick Knecht yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-1. The audience was convinced that Jonas Dahlberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. In the 73rd minute, Adrian Dreifuss hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by LIVIUS UNITED MLS's Daniel Şimandan. But to his dismay, Daniel Şimandan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomé Perpiñán in the 79th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jonas Dahlberg scored 7-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Bartolomé Perpiñán had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Yanick Knecht managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Germany's Frank Sachs fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 90 minutes into the match, Jonas Dahlberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonas Dahlberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-1. After 94 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. When the referee ended the match the LIVIUS UNITED MLS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
