The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yanick Knecht having to interfere. The supporters of Hungary booed when LIVIUS UNITED MLS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcu Iosub didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Şimandan. The audience was convinced that Jonas Dahlberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Yanick Knecht showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 28th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Bartolomé Perpiñán managed to get in a good position for a shot. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 84th minute, George Catry hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 85 minutes into the game, Bartolomé Perpiñán was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LIVIUS UNITED MLS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Yanick Knecht in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 92nd minute, Antal Valentin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Balazs Lajos during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 93rd match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Balazs Lajos to maneuver through the defense. Hungary's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
