With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vitório Nascimento in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. The Nova Venécia-ES fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Nova Venécia-ES's Vitório Nascimento looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Natã Quintal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arnout Reekers didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Nova Venécia-ES's Davi Lendaa shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Gustaaf Groeneveldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauro Barreto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran back to his position shaking his head. Nova Venécia-ES's Mauro Barreto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 16th minute of play. Davi Lendaa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnout Reekers having to interfere. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Davi Lendaa in the 19th minute. In the 26th minute, Nova Venécia-ES's Vitório Nascimento ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arnout Reekers. Arnout Reekers yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. The audience was convinced that Wim Wilmes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mauro Barreto was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Arnout Reekers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Wim Wilmes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mauro Barreto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Davi Lendaa was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Bas Tuitert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 56th minute, Ace Spade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nova Venécia-ES's goalkeeper Mauro Barreto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mauro Barreto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 minutes Nova Venécia-ES's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natã Quintal in the 72nd minute of play. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davi Lendaa in the 76th minute of play. In the 76th match minute, Nova Venécia-ES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdo Diniz to maneuver through the defense. Nova Venécia-ES's Mauro Barreto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Nova Venécia-ES from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the match, Nova Venécia-ES's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Mauro Barreto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Nova Venécia-ES's Davi Lendaa. But to his dismay, Davi Lendaa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Many of Netherlands's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Netherlands may have spent more time on the ball, but Nova Venécia-ES were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
