Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. Nicklas Trøjgaard hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute of the match Gijsbert ter Kruimer sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nick Pope skillfully saved the ball. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johan Johansson in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute, Daniel Åhman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the match, Bajen's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Nick Pope reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Egbert Nijveldt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Netherlands's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bajen the free kick. In the 18th minute, Egbert Nijveldt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sidney Porto in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. Arnout Reekers stood somewhat misplaced when Sidney Porto came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 20 minute. In the 26th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nick Pope was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Bajen's Nick Pope played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 31st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Baldomero Sugar got free with Arnout Reekers in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 37th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt made a precise shot to the right of Nick Pope. Bajen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 42nd match minute, Bajen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johan Johansson to maneuver through the defense. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baldomero Sugar went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sidney Porto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Johan Johansson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bajen fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidney Porto in the 53rd minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nick Pope saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johan Johansson scored 4-2 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sidney Porto went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. In the 68th minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nick Pope saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 70th minute Sidney Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nick Pope made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Bajen's Nick Pope proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Bajen from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute, Johan Johansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nick Pope. That made the score 6-3 after 96 minutes of play. Bajen were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Netherlands for a fine match.
