Spectators: 51 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. The referee felt a red card was in order, 7 minutes into the game, when Bas Tuitert put in a rough tackle. In the 7th minute, one of Netherlands:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Netherlands. Arnout Reekers had in the 9thth minute some difficulties stopping Pimarn Pansri's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. When HuaHin City's Koronis Corona in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Netherlands's goalie prevented a goal. When Josef Odén fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HuaHin City's protests and gave Josef Odén a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, HuaHin City's Josef Odén got a free kick in the 24th minute. After 24 played minutes, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Killian Armada came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Netherlands reached it. Killian Armada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lars Meesters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Heriberto Haedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Killian Armada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 41st minute of play. David Eikelkamp charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed David Eikelkamp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. David Eikelkamp hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

In the 52nd minute Koronis Corona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute HuaHin City were awarded a corner. Pimarn Pansri went to the cornerflag to take it. HuaHin City's Pimarn Pansri was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Arnout Reekers in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. HuaHin City's Koronis Corona got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, HuaHin City's Killian Armada got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Killian Armada having to interfere. Killian Armada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 64th minute of play. If Heriberto Haedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. David Eikelkamp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, HuaHin City's Killian Armada got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The corner led Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer to fire away a dangerous shot which Killian Armada despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Koronis Corona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Koronis Corona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 94th minute Heriberto Haedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Netherlands booed when HuaHin City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koronis Corona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Netherlands's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because HuaHin City had won, even though Netherlands had held more of the ball.
