Takacs Tibor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Tiburcio Liher tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Higino lago hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiburcio Liher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hegedus Henrik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Amado Valverde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octávio Portugal in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 32 minutes into the match, Altamora FC's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Tiburcio Liher reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Liher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiburcio Liher stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Antal Valentin's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octávio Portugal in the 40th minute of play. Szekeres Tamas made in the 42nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Major Barna. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tiburcio Liher made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 59th minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szekeres Tamas to maneuver through the defense. Szekeres Tamas hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Tiburcio Liher in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Jacinto Moutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Jacinto Moutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Altamora FC players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
