Rüştü Rencber made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Witalis Jazowski made the kick off in the second half. Gustaaf Groeneveldt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 52ndth minute tested the skills of Rüştü Rencber when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 53 played minutes KS Mleczne Wieśniaki got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Cearense. KS Mleczne Wieśniaki's Harry Potter got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Rüştü Rencber made a huge save. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
