An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 7th minute of play forced Baxters Boys's goalkeeper Staffan Joensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antal Valentin scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Staffan Joensson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bertil Andreasson in the 15th minute of the match. Baxters Boys's Staffan Joensson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 19th minute of play forced Baxters Boys's goalkeeper Staffan Joensson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Jan-Olof Bergendahl sped through Hungary's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Jan-Olof Bergendahl scored to the left of an out of position Fodor Daniel, making the score, 2-1. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Staffan Joensson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Major Barna in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Staffan Joensson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Major Barna spun around in front of the goal 37 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Baxters Boys's goal. Staffan Joensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 38th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Bertil Andreasson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Bertil Andreasson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Baxters Boys booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Major Barna didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Baxters Boys getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Stig Gulliksson hit a great ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. The supporters of Hungary booed when Baxters Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthias Norberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan-Olof Bergendahl in the 60th minute of play. 67 minutes into the game, Jan-Olof Bergendahl was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Baxters Boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hungary the free kick. Jan-Olof Bergendahl kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Baxters Boys made a substitution. Enrique Tavares replaced Jan-Olof Bergendahl. After 69 played minutes Baxters Boys got a freekick which was hit by Jan-Olof Bergendahl. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Daniel Dräger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matthias Norberg kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Staffan Joensson made a huge save. In the 84th minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Baxters Boys's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Antal Valentin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Staffan Joensson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 87th minute Enrique Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Enrique Tavares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
