Spectators: 52 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 12, VIP seats: 1) FK KLIS's Murat Zelenika started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Murat Zelenika in the 3rd minute. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murat Zelenika in the 5th minute of play. In the 8th minute Murat Zelenika shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Murat Zelenika's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Felipe Barreto scored 2-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giannis Konstantinou, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Murat Zelenika came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caetano Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giannis Konstantinou having to interfere. When Rodolfo Miranda came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Portugal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Miranda couldn't finish the play. Giannis Konstantinou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fulvio Terenzi in the 47th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viriato Moura was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, FK KLIS's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Giannis Konstantinou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felipe Barreto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Giannis Konstantinou skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 63 minutes of play, FK KLIS's Murat Zelenika made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Graciano Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Portugal's Felipinho Amorim was substituted for Felipe Barreto. The supporters of FK KLIS booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Graciano Coutinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Felipinho Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Giannis Konstantinou made a huge save. Murat Zelenika took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. FK KLIS made a substitution. Eldar Huseinović replaced Yuan Bin Liang. FK KLIS's Eldar Huseinović managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Bruno Bastos in the 79 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murat Zelenika in the 80th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Murat Zelenika sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Felipinho Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the game, Murat Zelenika cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-2. Wilson Amorim was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 94th minute, Raul Caetano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Portugal's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
