In the 7th minute, Fridolin Neumeister hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Switzerland booed when JoynickFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armando Paul didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 15thth minute of the game Samuele Kunz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JoynickFC's André Sjöberg was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 17th minute, Fridolin Neumeister hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Jonny Brander managed to get in a good position for a shot. JoynickFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonny Brander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hias Nüssli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 20 minutes of play, JoynickFC's D.J. Bobek made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hias Nüssli was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ove Lindström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hias Nüssli having to interfere. Jacinto Maurer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. André Sjöberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the game, Switzerland's Samuele Kunz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. André Sjöberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Switzerland's Hias Nüssli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Switzerland from getting a goal against them. Hias Nüssli made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when D.J. Bobek sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the match, Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that André Sjöberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. D.J. Bobek who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Hias Nüssli when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Switzerland's Hias Nüssli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Switzerland from getting a goal against them. Ove Lindström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 44th minute Samuele Kunz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Sjöberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, Rolf Billock was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. JoynickFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Switzerland the free kick. In the 48th minute, Samuele Kunz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and JoynickFC's André Sjöberg didn't even have to move. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

With a little luck, JoynickFC's André Sjöberg got control of the ball when Samuele Kunz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 60 played minutes JoynickFC got a freekick which was hit by D.J. Bobek. André Sjöberg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samuele Kunz in the 61st minute. Armando Paul received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Hias Nüssli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Switzerland's Jacinto Maurer got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Switzerland's Samuele Kunz in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Switzerland's zone, D.J. Bobek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hias Nüssli came out of the goal and D.J. Bobek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ove Lindström struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Hias Nüssli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for JoynickFC. Armando Paul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hias Nüssli having to interfere. Ove Lindström hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 94 minutes into the match, JoynickFC's goalkeeper André Sjöberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jacinto Maurer. 96 minutes into the match, Switzerland's goal looked a bit too open when Ove Lindström came free, but Hias Nüssli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Switzerland could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than JoynickFC throughout the match.
