The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Frank Sachs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. Simon Britz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. After having played for 9 minutes, Jonas Vallmark managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stream Sponsoren's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonas Vallmark was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Bolin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Britz in the 21st minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the game, Stream Sponsoren's Simon Britz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. When the match clock showed 25 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Simon Britz sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. A collision led to Stream Sponsoren getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Dan Bolin hit a great ball. 30 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Dan Bolin came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simon Britz got free with Tommy Kahn in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Janik Vogt hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Simon Britz in the 35th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Britz in the 38th minute of play. After 40 minutes, Jonas Vallmark made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Germany's Tommy Kahn tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 43rd minute, Jonas Vallmark reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tommy Kahn. The goal made the score 4-1. 46 minutes into the match, Stream Sponsoren's Dan Bolin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

The corner ended in Rasmus Ljungberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Germany's Tommy Kahn did a great save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Simon Britz during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tommy Kahn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jonas Vallmark went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. 70 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Simon Britz came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Arne Ström in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76thth minute of the game Simon Britz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Simon Britz in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. The supporters of Stream Sponsoren booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janik Vogt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 84th minute. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Britz in the 95th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Stream Sponsoren.
