Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Kálmán Gácsi started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Márió Kállai could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. György Tóth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Márió Kállai's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. György Tóth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Balazs Lajos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. György Tóth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antal Valentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Márió Kállai sent off a good shot on target. Antal Valentin scored 0-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of György Tóth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Antal Valentin came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antal Valentin couldn't finish the play. After the first half Hungary were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 54 minutes, Boros Benedek mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hungary and the Zalasárszeg OSE players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márió Kállai, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Márió Kállai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Zalasárszeg OSE's Kálmán Gácsi in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hungary's goalie prevented a goal. In the 73rd minute Takacs Tibor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but György Tóth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Takacs Tibor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. György Tóth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 80th minute. 81 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zalasárszeg OSE's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Hungary's Vörös Henrik to fire away a dangerous shot which György Tóth despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. György Tóth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 84th minute of play. When Zalasárszeg OSE's Márió Kállai in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hungary's goalie prevented a goal. Viktor Vass hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Hungary's Antal Valentin tried to score from far away in the 94th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
