Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Maxime Durand successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. France's Maxime Durand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save France from getting a goal against them. Aquiles Gana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquiles Gana got free with Maxime Durand in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dražen Ladić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Camille Baume, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Aquiles Gana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 16 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Gana came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Aquiles Gana took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Maxime Durand to make any attempt to save it. In the 22nd minute, Aquiles Gana reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maxime Durand. The goal made the score 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aquiles Gana got free with Maxime Durand in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Peletier in the 34th minute of play forced AC Morena's goalkeeper Dražen Ladić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dražen Ladić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Peletier in the 37th minute of play. After 38 minutes of play, AC Morena's Aquiles Gana made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maxime Durand was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maxime Durand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aquiles Gana in the 44th minute. 47 minutes into the game, Aquiles Gana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Maxime Durand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Peletier to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexis Bruneau to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute of the match Ercole Carosella sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Maxime Durand skillfully saved the ball. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Gana in the 60th minute of the match. Maxime Durand made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aquiles Gana in the 62nd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Gana came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aquiles Gana in the 66th minute of play. Álvaro Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Robert Chapuis kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Dražen Ladić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Peletier in the 81st minute. 86 minutes into the match, Aquiles Gana notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of France's Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was beautiful to see AC Morena's Álvaro Fonseca in action when he in the 89th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 90 played minutes France got a freekick which was hit by Robert Chapuis. 92 minutes into the match, Aquiles Gana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maxime Durand. France's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aquiles Gana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. There was no doubt that AC Morena were the better team. AC Morena's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
