The referee ignored Academia Rio's protests and gave Lucian Petriceanu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Academia Rio getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Lucian Petriceanu hit a great ball. Moez Bejaoui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gigel Tilea having to interfere. Aurelian Panin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Coșeriu in the 16th minute of the match. When YR☆ Village Superstars's Matei Chelaru in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 21 played minutes YR☆ Village Superstars got a freekick which was hit by Dayam Lloredo. 22 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's Sergiu Coșeriu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelian Panin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's goal looked a bit too open when Matei Chelaru came free, but Gigel Tilea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moez Bejaoui in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gigel Tilea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 33 minutes into the match, Moez Bejaoui had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gigel Tilea. Academia Rio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moez Bejaoui was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 37 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's goal looked a bit too open when Matei Chelaru came free, but Gigel Tilea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Matei Chelaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in YR☆ Village Superstars's zone, Sergiu Coșeriu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelian Panin came out of the goal and Sergiu Coșeriu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matei Chelaru to make the kick off. In the 54th minute of the match, Amadeo Frans tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gigel Tilea saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aurelian Panin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dorel Nedelciu went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Gigel Tilea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moez Bejaoui, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Aurelian Panin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorel Nedelciu in the 62nd minute of play. Edwardo Piñeros hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 71 minutes into the match, Academia Rio's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Frans came free, but Gigel Tilea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edwardo Piñeros charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Gigel Tilea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Aurelian Panin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorel Nedelciu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute Amadeo Frans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Tilea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Academia Rio's Gigel Tilea got control of the ball when Matei Chelaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 96th minute, Sergiu Coșeriu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelian Panin was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. YR☆ Village Superstars had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
