The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Calistrat Bordeianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 3rd minute of play. Germany were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Carp Team's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frank Sachs took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Linus Schwerner heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After 6 minutes, Gogo Merexildo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carp Team and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 played minutes Carp Team got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Merexildo. 8 minutes into the match, Carp Team's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Calistrat Bordeianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calistrat Bordeianu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Carp Team's Calistrat Bordeianu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 19th minute of play. In the 21stth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carp Team's Calistrat Bordeianu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Calistrat Bordeianu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Germany booed when Carp Team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rareș Elian didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Bordeianu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gelu Zglobiu made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Gelu Zglobiu came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 67 minutes into the match, Carp Team's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Calistrat Bordeianu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matei Cârstea in the 69th minute of play. 70 minutes into the game, Rareș Elian was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
