PHOENIX SC's Ray Clemence played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Bastos in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, PHOENIX SC's goal looked a bit too open when Ugochukwutubelum Antetokounmpo came free, but Ray Clemence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes had been played when some careless play by PHOENIX SC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Goran Jeknić was slow to take the kick. During this time Warriors of Gora™'s players had a chance to rest. Murat Car made a great header on Warriors of Gora™'s corner, it was just that PHOENIX SC's Ray Clemence managed to reach the ball for a save. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Samai Asmawan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hanung Sephtianda got free with Fabiano Ramoser in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Fabiano Ramoser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimir de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. With a little luck, Warriors of Gora™'s Fabiano Ramoser got control of the ball when Hanung Sephtianda tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched PHOENIX SC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
