Serafin Eate made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 10th minute of play. When Herman Arvidsson came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Club Atletico Chusca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Herman Arvidsson couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zaccheo Andolina in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Serafin Eate saved Club Atletico Chusca from getting behind. Lauro Moreira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 19th minute of play forced Club Atletico Chusca's goalkeeper Serafin Eate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Chusca's Lauro Moreira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Flavio Vittori narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Deodato Magliozzi hit a great ball. Adriano Curto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafin Eate read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Club Atletico Chusca succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Italy had controlled the match.
