Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iwan Valentijn started the match with the kick off. Iwan Valentijn received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gabriel Ascaso came out and tried to block the shot, but Iwan Valentijn slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Jon Cubero charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jon Cubero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Spain getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Jon Cubero hit a great ball. Iwan Valentijn received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gabriel Ascaso came out and tried to block the shot, but Iwan Valentijn slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute Iwan Valentijn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aristides Gombal kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Spain's Adria Bielsa got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, FC Bal op het Dak's Iwan Valentijn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Ascaso narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute FC Bal op het Dak were awarded a corner. Marick Brunt went to the cornerflag to take it. A very nice done corner allowed Aristides Gombal to score against Gabriel Ascaso in Spain's goal. 3-0 after 26 minutes. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Iwan Valentijn managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bal op het Dak's supporters rose to their feet, but Iwan Valentijn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Ascaso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 37 in the game by Dan Kjellman from a close distance when the talented Gabriel Ascaso managed to make a qualified save. Spain's players were relieved. Dan Kjellman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Ascaso having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, David Aranda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, FC Bal op het Dak's Gabriel Ascaso threw himself towards the right post 44 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Iwan Valentijn, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 47th match minute, FC Bal op het Dak was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Kjellman to maneuver through the defense. After 49 played minutes FC Bal op het Dak got a freekick which was hit by Dan Kjellman. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Omar Toledo made the kick off in the second half. In the 62nd minute, Spain's David Aranda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maurício Bomba. Maurício Bomba yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. FC Bal op het Dak made a substitution. Nico Hagenouw replaced Válbson Almeida. FC Bal op het Dak made a substitution. Martijn August replaced Iwan Valentijn. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dan Kjellman in the 71st minute of play. The supporters of FC Bal op het Dak booed when Spain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Aranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute Sergio Ruiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Bomba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Spain's zone, Joop Meder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gabriel Ascaso came out of the goal and Joop Meder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maurício Bomba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Ruiz in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Kjellman in the 90th minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 95 minutes into the match, FC Bal op het Dak's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Ruiz came free, but Maurício Bomba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, FC Bal op het Dak could leave the field as winners, despite Spain having more of the ball for most of the match.
