Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Siebe Michiels in the 3rd minute of play forced Academia Monte Gordo's goalkeeper Mao Zhen Hong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christian Westerstrand in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Casper Claes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Academia Monte Gordo's Mao Zhen Hong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 16th minute of play. Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After taking down the ball on Academia Monte Gordo's corner Codrin Zamfira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Casper Claes quite easily take care of the ball. Mao Zhen Hong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenny Clocheret in the 31st minute of the match. Yves Dervaux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 38 minutes, Sander Dermaut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Belgium's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sander Dermaut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd minute Simon Sabbe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mao Zhen Hong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 minutes, Adolfo Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Academia Monte Gordo and the Belgium players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten was the one to do the kick off. Academia Monte Gordo's Adélio Infante was substituted for Christian Westerstrand. After 73 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Nigel Devos. Edward Vanderstraeten who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Mao Zhen Hong when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 87thth minute of the game Fabrício Lustosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgium's Casper Claes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Academia Monte Gordo's Mao Zhen Hong proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Academia Monte Gordo from getting a goal against them. Fabrício Lustosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Casper Claes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice moves Edward Vanderstraeten could shoot a difficult shot in the 93rd minute, which Mao Zhen Hong however easily saved by the left post. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Belgium players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
