Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dan Kjellman made the kick off and thus started the match. A sloppy throw-in by Vasile Ciumak in the 3rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Bal op het Dak's Eddy Neijsen. Romania's Carol Stinga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Kjellman in the 23rd minute of play. When Romania's Costica Vladimiri in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Bal op het Dak's goalie prevented a goal. Maurício Bomba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costica Vladimiri in the 29th minute of play. If Dan Kjellman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Adam Olaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sanda Cutov in the 36th minute of play forced FC Bal op het Dak's goalkeeper Maurício Bomba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maurício Bomba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Serban's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. When the match clock showed 43 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Alex Serban sped through FC Bal op het Dak's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Maurício Bomba. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Romania's goalkeeper Carol Stinga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adam Olaru was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the FC Bal op het Dak defense, Rasvan Cristescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maurício Bomba. The FC Bal op het Dak fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maurício Bomba should have stopped the shot. In the 56th minute Adam Olaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maurício Bomba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romania's Anton Stinga was substituted for Adam Olaru. FC Bal op het Dak made a substitution. Iwan Valentijn replaced Aristides Gombal. Vasile Ciumak got a throw-in 59 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Alex Serban. FC Bal op het Dak's Nico Hagenouw was substituted for Válbson Almeida. Romania's Octavian Vaduva was substituted for Costica Vladimiri. FC Bal op het Dak made a substitution. Martijn August replaced Dan Kjellman. The supporters of FC Bal op het Dak booed when Romania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rasvan Cristescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romania's Alexandru Pangratiu was substituted for Alex Serban. After 67 played minutes Romania got a freekick which was hit by Rasvan Cristescu. When FC Bal op het Dak's Iwan Valentijn in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Maurício Bomba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Stinga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 82 minutes Romania's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marick Brunt who took care of the corner kick. The corner led FC Bal op het Dak's Marick Brunt to fire away a dangerous shot which Carol Stinga despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Carol Stinga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwan Valentijn in the 84th minute of the match. Romania's Carol Stinga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iwan Valentijn in the 85th minute of play. Octavian Vaduva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurício Bomba having to interfere.
