In the 10th minute, one of Netherlands:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Netherlands. 17 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Napoleon Jajko. Zjem Cię's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wim Wilmes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Zjem Cię's Napoleon Jajko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 20th minute of play. Czeslaw Pawlak came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arnout Reekers could save by the left post. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mateo Palacio in the 38th minute. Zjem Cię's Napoleon Jajko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 40th minute of play. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Czeslaw Pawlak tried to sneak it across the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zenon Roman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Zjem Cię was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zenon Roman to maneuver through the defense. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zenon Roman in the 56th minute of the match. Zjem Cię's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mateo Palacio in the 58th minute. In the 61st minute, Mathijn Doctor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napoleon Jajko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thodoris Tikellis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gustaaf Groeneveldt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 70thth minute tested the skills of Napoleon Jajko when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 72 minutes into the match, Zjem Cię's goalkeeper Napoleon Jajko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zjem Cię made a substitution. Wasyl Dejo replaced Tolek Wojtyna. In the 88th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Meesters to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Zjem Cię was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Czeslaw Pawlak didn't get a good kick on the ball. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Palacio in the 95th minute of play.
