Ivan Moutinho struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Fura Balizas. Long Gang Sen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, FC Fura Balizas's Wilson Amorim threw himself towards the right post 13 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mario Azeari, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The corner led Portugal's Felipe Barreto to fire away a dangerous shot which Long Gang Sen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Portugal's attentive Daniel Pimentel managed to snatch the ball when Vicente Madruga made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Moutinho in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st minute, Ivan Moutinho reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wilson Amorim. The goal made the score 2-1. Long Gang Sen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 36th minute of the match. A collision led to Portugal getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Rodolfo Miranda hit a great ball. In the 42nd minute FC Fura Balizas were awarded a corner. Fabrício Lopes went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led FC Fura Balizas's Fabrício Lopes to fire away a dangerous shot which Wilson Amorim despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivan Moutinho was the one to do the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 53 minutes, Long Gang Sen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ivan Moutinho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wilson Amorim read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, FC Fura Balizas's Ivan Moutinho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilson Amorim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Ivan Moutinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivan Moutinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 75th minute of play forced FC Fura Balizas's goalkeeper Long Gang Sen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipinho Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Long Gang Sen having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Olívio Ribas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Fura Balizas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Long Gang Sen. That made the score 4-3 after 93 minutes of play. FC Fura Balizas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
