In the 11th minute Gwidon Arnista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carol Stinga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carol Stinga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ertan Duman in the 21st minute of the match. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Romania's goalkeeper Carol Stinga, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Sanda Cutov notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Zagórna's Marian Gniech. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sanda Cutov got free with Marian Gniech in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 56th minute Adam Olaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Gniech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romania's Anton Stinga was substituted for Adam Olaru. Marian Gniech didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anton Stinga went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Romania's Octavian Vaduva was substituted for Costica Vladimiri. A collision led to Romania getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Rasvan Cristescu hit a great ball. Carol Stinga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ertan Duman in the 79th minute of play. Marian Gniech made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sanda Cutov in the 84th minute. Anton Stinga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Marian Gniech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Zagórna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcu Voinea to maneuver through the defense. 94 minutes into the game, Romania's Alexandru Pangratiu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marian Gniech made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
